Submission of Photo - Kuching City

Hi everyone, we are looking for submission of photo about Kuching cityscape, faces of people or anything that is interesting which is related to Kuching. It can also be photograph of the events that you have organized.

The photo selected will be used to compile a slide show about our beloved city and to be shown during the conference to showcase our love for the city as well as the talents of our young people.

Borneo Convention Centre Update

I went to the Borneo Convention Centre for a site inspection.

The hall that we will be using was having a hive of activities. They were working in the ceiling as well as the partition walls. It all looked well and I am confident that it will be in time for our conference.

Let's pray that the place will be more than ready for us by Aug 21, 2009.

Pastor Kevin Loo is the Founder and Senior Pastor of City Harvest Church, Malaysia. His God-given vision to pioneer and build a strong local church has led to the birth of City Harvest Church in Kuala Lumpur (a branch of City Harvest Church, Singapore) in 2001 with just 20 people to begin with. Pastor Andrew Yeo serves as one of the pastors at The City Church in Singapore. An experienced youth speaker and worship leader, Andrew shares his life story, and preaches in many churches, youth camps. He has led thousands in worship in stadiums and in major conferences in Singapore as well as in various parts of Asia. A gifted songwriter, Andrew has written songs both in English and Mandarin, and many of his songs have been translated into different languages and have impacted audiences in the Far East. Generation Band from Singapore: Living by the core Generation mandate, "to transform indifferent young people into passionate lovers of God", the Generation Band is passionate and anointed. They are fully embracing the opportunity to help move young people from despair to hope, and from words to actions by bringing God's love and reality through worship. They travel internationally, bringing God's breakthrough-anointing to conferences and churches all over Singapore as well as various parts of Asia. Dr Shan Ong is a Consultant Pediatrician, specializing in Child Development (mainly in Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia) in Sydney . Together with his wife, Elizabeth, they have been actively supporting mission organizations and child-sponsorship programmes. 3 years ago, God placed a burden on their hearts to offer Dr. Shan’s medical skills (and not just charitable giving) to the poor living in developing countries, and to share with them God's Word. Since then, they have ministered in Vanuatu, Kalimantan and Bangalore. Their vision is to see Christians rise up to serve God with compassion. Dr. Shan, Elizabeth and their children worship at the vibrant Hillsongs Church City Campus Sydney.

Kester Tay is the leader of the young people in Emmanuel Baptist Church. His passion is to see young people rise up in the marketplace for God through mentoring. His God's given heart desire is to motivate young people ministries to flourish in every church in the region.
